How To Raise A Brat (Part 3)

Disclaimer: This series of posts is written in jest. If you cannot respond to sarcasm, please don’t read any further. 😉

Step # 3 — Do Not give them any responsibilities or duties.

Being a child is a difficult task. Kids have it hard enough in this generation. Therefore, we should never add to their work load by giving them meaningless “chores.” Folding clothes, picking up toys, clearing the table after dinner… these are “adult” jobs. Please, do it all for them. Work ethic is for adults. Children can always learn how to work when they get a real job someday. Until then, we should do all we can to serve them and keep them from anything that could remotely look like “work.” This will let them know that there is a world out there just waiting to serve them. They are the kings and queens, and the world is their servant. Besides, who are we to take away their joy of being served?
